If no HR notification has been generated and sent, there can be a number of reasons. The most common causes are discussed below:
- You're working in the sandbox
- The debtor and/or company is hidden
- It's a test company
- The HR notification is created before the start or after the end period of the company
- The employee is not in service
- The contract isn't active
1. You're working in the sandbox
Reason:When you're working in the sandbox, no HR notifications can be sent. This is a test environment and therefore does not send out notifications, payroll tax returns, pension exports or journal entries. See the article below for more information on the Sandbox. Sandbox.
Identifying the issue
When you see "Sandbox" in the upper left corner of your Nmbrs environment and see your web address (name environment)-sandbox, you know you're working in the sandbox.

Solution
It isn't possible to create an HR notification from the company when working in the sandbox. If you don't want to work in the sandbox, close the environment/page; your real environment is still open. If not, open it again in the usual way and resend the HR notification.

2. The debtor and/or company is hidden
Reason:When debtors and/or companies are hidden, no HR notifications are sent.
Identifying the issue
When debtors and/or companies are hidden, they can be found only under "Manage" on the "Settings" tab.
Solution
It's not possible to create an HR notification from the company. If the debtors and/or companies aren't supposed to be hidden, they can be made visible again so that HR notifications can once more be sent and received.
See the article above to learn how this is done.

3. It's a test company
Reason:If "Test operation" is ticked, no HR notifications can be sent. This is useful primarily when doing a test run of new clients in the current year.
Identifying the issue
Go to "Company Settings" at company level and see whether "Test company" is ticked.

4. The HR notification is created before the start or after the end period of the company
Reason:No automatic HR notifications (end of contract, end of service, anniversaries, birthdays, absence points, trial period) are sent before the start period or after the end period of a company.
See article below for more information:
Identifying the issue
Under "Payroll settings" at company level, go to "Company settings" to see whether the company was still active on the date the notification was created.

5.The employee is not in service
Reason:When an employee is not in service, no further HR notifications other than action points are sent out. This applies both before and after the employment contract. For example, if a notification needs to be sent 60 days in advance but the employee has not yet started service, this notification won't be sent. Action points are always sent out in this situation regardless of the employment contract.
Identifying the issue
Go to the relevant employee(s) who received no notification and find out whether they are in service. Compare the date on which the notification should be created with the period during which the employee is in service.
Using the filter option (see image below), it's easy to find out which employees are not in service.
You can also go to the "Employment Contract" dashlet, where you'll find the exact "End Service date".
Solution
It's not possible to create an HR notification from the company if an employee is not in service - apart from the action points. These have to be deleted manually. More information about terminating a company:
6.The contract isn't active
Reason:When creating a notification for a contract, the system looks only at the employee's active contract:
Identifying the issue
Go to the relevant employees who have received no notification and find out whether they have an active contract. Compare the date on which the notification should be created with the period during which the contract is active.
