This category describes how everything about the Payroll Workflow and mutation forms can be set up and how these functions optimise payroll administration:
Payroll Workflow
In Visma Nmbrs, the monthly salary tasks, such as processing a salary run, making payslips visible and submitting the Wage tax declaration, can be scheduled via the Payroll Workflow or performed automatically.
A Payroll Workflow is comprised of various 'tracks': the pay period, the run, Wage tax declaration and Pension export tasks. You can activate these, have them completed automatically, send notification of their transmission and if necessary specify which contacts receive the notifications.
See the articles below regarding the available Payroll Workflow tasks and the meaning of the colours and symbols within the Payroll Workflow.
Standard workflows
Visma Nmbrs has three standard, pre-defined Payroll Workflow settings that you can use and can modify if required at Global level and company level.
Users can be assigned to specific Payroll Workflow tasks at both levels.
Creating your own Payroll Workflow settings
You can also create Payroll Workflows that are entirely customised. If you want to do this, you will first have to create it at Global level. Then you can select it for a company and modify it if needed. Users can be assigned to specific Payroll Workflow tasks at both levels.

Payroll Workflow Wizards
If you have selected a standard Payroll Workflow or a custom Payroll Workflow has been created, you can use the Payroll Workflow Wizards. These Wizards make it possible to perform a specific Payroll Workflow task for a group of companies at the same time (based on tag, Payroll Workflow or timeframe).
Things to consider in the Payroll Workflow
It is possible for the Payroll Workflow to be interrupted because there is a deviation from the standard process; for example, in a pre-run or a retro active run. This is explained further in the article below:
Scheduling the wage tax declaration in the Payroll Workflow requires special consideration, as the wage tax declaration must be scheduled before the following period begins:
Creating contacts
Whenever a Payroll Workflow task is performed, you can send a notification to a contact. The contact must first be configured. The following article explains how to do this:
Mutation forms
To be able to use the Mutation form, a template must be created at the highest level, which can subsequently be configured at company level. The articles below explain how you can do this:
