Nmbrs® literally takes the work off your hands. The automatic notifications, the HR dashboards, the employee self-service (ESS) and the manager self-service (MSS) ensure that you can offer an optimal HR service with minimal effort.
However, how do you configure this in the application, and how do you use this in practice, so that you use Nmbrs® in the most efficient manner and free up more time for your core activities?
Below follows an overview of all possible settings which assist you in using Nmbrs® as efficiently as possible.

Giving access to an employee
When employees have access to Nmbrs®, this results in a high level of efficiency, because they are now able to perform certain actions themselves and can also open documents.
You can specify exactly which levels and which dashboards the user is allowed to see and edit. You do this by selecting, setting up or customising a so-called user template.
When employees can open and save documents themselves, it is no longer necessary to print payslips, for instance. This saves paper and time, and therefore money.
Running a payroll can be done very efficiently in Nmbrs®. Before the run, the period can be checked quickly with the help of the automatic Run Control. In this screen you will see all notifications, warnings and errors which have been detected by the system before the run. You can then take the necessary action before starting up the run.
When running (large) companies this process can be performed in the background so you do not have to wait for the payroll processing. You can continue to work until the run is completed.
The use of change requests is the most efficient way to process or have changes processed, as your employee now enters the changes himself/herself. Most of the changes are requested by an employee and can be approved by a manager, for instance. When changes are approved, these are included in the Nmbrs® database, so that it is no longer necessary to retype the data from emails.
The Workflow module in Nmbrs® enables the configuration per company in respect of which (payroll and HR) activities per period should (automatically) be performed and also who receives notifications of these performed actions. The workflow ensures a high level of efficiency, as all tasks involved in the payroll process, such as executing a run and creating/sending the payroll tax return, pension export and journal entry can be performed automatically. Each task can be linked to the next task, so that once one task has been completed, the next task can automatically be executed. When all tasks are successively set up, the entire payroll cycle can run its full (automatic) course.
A handy overview is also available of the status of the payroll process for all open activities. These tasks can then be performed easily and directly in the Workflow tab.
By using default employees, certain settings are easy to maintain and copy when creating employees.
By using certain links, data can be efficiently and quickly transferred to other systems or retrieved from Nmbrs®.
