This is an introduction to get to know the HR functionalities of Nmbrs®. At least one company and associated employee are required for this tutorial. Follow 1. Introduction Company and Employees to create a company and an employee.
If you are sure that you want to start using Nmbrs® then you can follow the start-up program through this article.
The HR functionalities are extensive which is why we are not covering all of them in this article. We will go into leave- and absence registration as well as HR signals.
Leave
In the Leave settings on Master level you are able to set up the leave model. This model is set-up with all the leave specifics and can afterwards be connected to the company where you need these settings.
Master level ‘Leave model’
1. Go to the tab Settings.
2. Then select Leave model.

1. Go to the tab Leave Model
2. Click on ‘ + New Leave Model’
3. Fill in the name of your Leave Model
4. Go to the tab ‘Leave settings’
5. Select your created Leave model
6. Click on Edit
7. Fill in the Leave settings to that apply to your company and click Save
Now you've set up your leave settings.
Add Leave Model to your Labour Agreement
Add this created Leave Model to your Labour Agreement
Add settings to your company
Ensure you add the Labour Agreement (including the Leave Model) to your company.
1. Go the tab Explorer
2. Click on your company
3. Go to the tab Salary settings
4. Go to the dashlet Labour Agreements
5. Click on Edit and select your own Labour Agreement then Save
It's possible to adjust the settings on company and employee level. An example is that you follow a labour agreement and have created a leave model with standard of 25 vacation days per year. One company has the same labour agreement but 30 days vacation days, you can adjust this for the specific company at company level.
Absence
Absence is arranged through your time registration module. In order to activate your time registration and enable the ability for your managers and employee to set-up the absence, you will need to add a time registration model. This way the employees and managers can select the right codes, i.e. ‘Sickness’.
Set-up an employee Time registration model
1. Go to the tab Settings
2. Select Time registration model
3. Go to the tab Time registration model
4. Click ‘ + New Time registration model’ and create a new Time registration model for employees
5. Go to the tab Time registration types
6. Click on the pencil with ‘Time registration types’
7. Add the codes that you want the employees to be able to select, make sure you select the Sickness codes you need and Save
Add Time registration to Mutation Forms Settings
1. Go to the tab Explorer
2. Select your company
3. Go the tab HR Settings
4. Click more on the dashlet Mutation Forms Settings
5. Click on the Time registration model
6. Select your Time registration model for employees

HR Signals
You can configure the HR notification settings at master level. For more information on configuring the notifications themselves, click here.
Here you can enter who will receive a particular HR notifications.
Sending notifications to a master contact: You can find this under information at debtor level. "Contact person": if there is more than one, all of them receive the notification.
Sending notifications to a company contact: You can find this under general at company level. "Contact person": if there is more than one, all of them receive the notification.
Sending notifications to the manager's department: You can find this under the employment contract for the employee. "Department": a manager must be linked to the department. Click here for more information about departments and managers.
Sending notifications to an employee manager: You can find this under the employment contract of the employee. "Manager".
Sending notifications to an employee: The notification goes to the employee concerned. No additional data needs to be entered for this.
Sending notifications to the absence case manager: This can be found under Absence at debtor level. "Absence Case Managers": if there is more than one, all of them receive the notification.

The notifications can vary from the ‘End of a contract’ to a ‘25 year anniversary’.
HR Action Points
Nmbrs® has a very wide range of signals, these can also come from set action points. It is advisable to set-up action points and signals before taking Nmbrs® into use so that you are not missing anything in terms of leave, absence, birthdays, contracts, etc.
Adding an action point
We are now showing how you are able to add an action point to an employee.
1. Select an employee
2. Click on More in the dashlet Personal Info
3. Click on adding Action points
Type
Select the type of action point. When the type you need isn’t in the list, then click on the plus to add another type.
If you’ve clicked the plus to add another type, then you are able to add another value. The value is the description of the type of action point you want to add.
Now you are able to add the new type and to fill in the remaining fields of the action point; the date and description. When you’ve filled in all the fields then you are able to click Save.
Now your action point has been added.
