Creating debtor tags

With the use of tags you can add a filter to an Accountant login, so that this user can only see debtors with the relevant tag.

Debtor Tags

Go to 'Debtor Tags' via the 'Settings' tab.

New Tag

Create a new tag.

The minimum recommended division of debtors using tags is:

  • Clients
  • Office
  • Demo

It is advisable to also create a tag for the own office, so that not everyone in the company can see the payroll data of colleagues..

ven when a user has access to all tags, it is a good idea to create a separate user account with only the 'Demo' tag. This way, when you visit a (potential) client you will not get a list with all other clients on the screen. Only the debtors with this demo tag will be visible when you log in with this account.

You can, of course, divide debtors in any other desired manner.

Give the tag a number, name and colour and save this tag.

Go to 'Debtor management' on the 'Settings' tab.

Adding tag(s) to debtors

VAdd the created tag to a debtor by clicking on the plus icon.

Tick the tag(s) you want to add. You can add multiple tags to one debtor.

Viewing tags

  1. Here you can view the tags you have just added to the debtor.
  2. Here you can filter tags, if required, so that you only see the debtors with the 'Demo' tag, for instance. This does not affect the settings.

Adding tag(s) to Accountant logins

297.png

You have now added the tag(s) to a debtor. To add a tag to a debtor (thereby filtering this user) you go to the 'Accountant login' on the 'Settings' tab.

Activating the filter

298.png

This shows a list with users. Click on a grey filter to adjust the tags.

Ticking tags

299.png

Tick the tags you want to assign to this user, in other words which debtors the user is allowed to see. This could, of course, also be all tags: in that case, select 'All'.

When you have saved this, the tag(s) is/are added to the user.

Please note: When you have given users write permissions for this functionality, they can then also adjust their tags themselves.
